REVIEWS

Lovely pub with really friendly staff. Me and my family came here for the Jolly FarmFest event on Saturday and stayed the whole day as it was such a good event. The BBQ food was incredible, the staff were attentive, the pub was family friendly and really good with children and the landlord was chatting to all his customers and clearly is very proud of the pub culture he’s built and went out of his way to make my nan’s birthday special with cake and asking the band to sing Happy Birthday to her. I would definitely recommend to anyone as it’s a gorgeous, local pub!

Great staff friendly and polite does help they're very kind.

Dinner for a table of 11 on Saturday night.
Good food, great atmosphere, (live guitarist who was excellent) and great service from our waitress, Mercy, who was friendly, welcoming and very efficient.

Fantastic food at a good price.

We have been visiting the Jolly Farmer for over 40 years (it was our local when we were students and I went to school with the landlord's daughter). We visited when it reopened a year or two ago and were a bit disappointed. So it's only fair, having been recently, to update my review and give the JF the 5* it deserves.

We enjoyed a lovely sunny evening in the pub garden. Drinks, food and service were excellent and it's obvious there's been a huge effort to bring in the punters and get the pub back to its glory days.

We'll definitely be back 😊

We had a beautiful meal at the Jolly Farmer, really friendly staff, the food was wonderful. There’s a new chef and kitchen team. We will return. I would highly recommend a visit!

Really lovely pub, I’ve visited with my partner regularly since we moved here, and it’s had a really nice transformation over the last year. The new food menu has some less ‘typical’ options as well as the more familiar options which is nice for a change when you want it (the sticky toffee pudding is elite). Really good beer options - we often pop in with our dog to play a board game and have a drink. Looking forward to sitting in the new garden when the weather gets warmer :) really friendly crowd too, feels like a really nice local pub

Great food, great beer, great service! Thanks to Chris and the team at the Farmer for putting our lovely little pub back on the map! We appreciate your efforts.

What a gem of a pub! Beautiful inside and out, great atmosphere and food is truly wonderful. A nice range of pub food all home cooked, you can really taste how fresh the food is.

A great Sunday afternoon celebrating Sarah's 60th birthday.
The team could not have been more helpful from making the arrangements and on the day. Great service, food and atmosphere. Special thanks to Ellie, Holly, the chef and the whole team.

Fabulous local friendly pub…totally recommend.

Another wonderful evening at the Jolly Farmer in Warsash. Every Tuesday for us , we hit the quiz. Great fun , probably the best pub quiz I’ve been to. Good mix of rounds , there are even 2 games of bingo in between rounds where you can win a free drink.

Food was especially good again tonight , awesome burger - and that’s before a new menu I believe coming next week.

Well done to Louise tonight for winning the pot on “find the joker” - £350 Wowzer !

Such a good laugh. See you all again next week , I’m told there is a free buffet then! What are you waiting for !
See ya,
Basil

From the moment we walked in we were given a huge, warm welcome. We were instantly met with a local meat raffle - something our friend from Germany had never seen before - which was brilliant and exactly what we were hoping to show him: a good old-fashioned British pub full of happy locals, lovely staff, and great British vibes.

It made the perfect setting for his first UK pub experience. He absolutely loved the homemade beef pie - proper comfort food done right - while we went for the double smash burger, which was spot on: juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly.

The Guinness deserves a special mention. One of the best I’ve had in a pub - perfectly poured with a creamy head and all the right boxes ticked.

Warm atmosphere, friendly service, excellent food, and a real sense of community. This place clearly knows what it is and does it very well. We’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a true traditional pub experience.

Recently had my husbands wake at The Jolly Farmer, this was his favourite place to come for a drink and meal, so was an obvious choice for the venue.

The spread was really good with a variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls and chicken wings, all freshly made which we chose from their varied menu.

The staff were very accommodating nothing was too much trouble.

Thank you for making the day memorable.

In this very pretty pub I was served very well with a beautifully cooked roast chicken dinner and crumble. It is reasonably priced and it’s lovely inside. It’s also a freehouse.

I spoke to Debbie , the owner’s sister , and she was very warm and friendly. They will be serving meals pretty much all day very soon. I recommend this pub highly.

We had a table of 6 and were served by Holly and Mercy. Both brilliant for service and a laugh! Food was lovely and all had a great time with great drinks.

Recommend to anyone looking for good food and drinks!

Lovely experience with my mum, the staff couldn’t have been more warm, welcoming and accommodating.

Really enjoyed the food and a pleasant atmosphere throughout.

Had a brilliant Curry and Comedy night at The Jolly Farmer. Chris and his team have totally nailed a great night out.

Wonderful venue. Curry was superb, prices spot on, can't wait for the next one! Thank you so much!
